A Chelsea Piers Wedding

Words + Pictures by Angela Cappetta

These pictures show, just one more time, that there's nothing quite like the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers / Pier 60 -for a maritime wedding.  Summer in the city is what this one is all about.

Located at Chelsea Piers, The Lighthouse is a unique waterfront venue with sweeping views of the Hudson River.  This sophisticated urban loft space features hardwood floors, period lanterns and exposed ceilings. A year-round terrace featuring expansive glass doors that open to the river allows guests to enjoy cocktails  on the River anytime. Flexible space allows The Lighthouse to host weddings, corporate galas, meetings and product launches with ease.

A Farm Fresh Engagement Sitting

Thanks to these fine men for the opportunity to shoot their en-GAY-gement at Blue House Farm in the Catskills. This will be the first "official" engagement sitting of my career for a couple that can LEGALLY marry in New York State. Thank you to these wonderful gentleman for the honor of commemorating this historic event. Not to be beat: the gasket engagement rings. Well done, gentlemen!
