When the Hsieh family asked me to fly to Vancouver to shoot their biggest, three-generation family reunion, yet, I said yes (duh). Then I said: oh my, this is going to be interesting.
Families are complex units, with depth and breadth that rivals any element on the periodic table. This family, however, had one goal and one goal only: to be together. I hope you enjoy this Canadian compendium of this worldwide and far flung group, who put a pin in the globe and gathered in one of the most remarkable places on earth to be photographed together on a glacier. And I was happy to oblige.
